Welcome To the Course

I started learning about Japanese Candlestick back around 2001. I’ve read most of the major books and taken dozens of courses on the market as well as spent months watching YouTube videos.

Each one of the books and courses had something new and exciting that grabbed my attention and I wanted to learn more. However, that came at a price. It’s called information overload. My intent with this course is to provide you with a strong foundation on how and why to use Japanese Candlesticks and to avoid the overload that I got.

I want to tell you something that might sound a little strange coming from the person who wrote this course, but here it is…. Don’t trust everything I tell you. Now, that’s not to mean that what I am going to teach you is not correct because it will be according to what I’ve learned over the past 20+ years. I’m telling you this because I want you to verify for yourself that what I’m telling you is right. That’s how to learn, or it is for me anyway.

I’m more visual than I am auditory, and I will be using a lot of graphics, charts, along with some video explanation of the graphics and also some videos of current charts. I will do my best to explain every aspect of each of the Candlesticks and Candlestick Patterns that I have in the course.

Hopefully, as you go through the course, you will start to say to yourself that everything just makes common sense (I love puns). If it does, then all my time and effort will be justified.

Remember you can leave comments, ask questions and let me know if something needs more clarification in the Group Discussion area at the top of the course. Then there is the Member Chat to send me a private message or send an email to me at david@davidduty.com.
